The Mhadei Research Centre team participated in the Students Conservation Science Conference 2013 held in Bangalore. A Poster regarding activities of the centre was displayed at the Who’s Who section. Nirmal Kulkarni presented a Plenary talk on ‘ Private sanctuaries as new long term strategies for conservation’.

A UGC sponsored National Seminar on Western Ghats of India- A World heritage was held at the Mhadei Research Centre on 30th Sept and 1st October 2013. It was jointly organised by GSS college Belgaum and Mhadei Research Center.
