Devadatta Naik
Devadatta B Naik has been involved in conservation education and is a vanguard in lesser known fauna research. He is amongst the first research assistants for the King Cobra radio Telemetry Project at Agumbe. He is one of the first millipede taxonomists in India and has been part of several research related NGOs in Maharashtra and Karnataka. An accomplished wildlife photographer, Devadatta has also travelled the length and breadth of India for field work and has taken innumerable nature education programs in the past decade. He is currently compiling a database on millipedes of the Northern Western Ghats of India with special focus on Goa. He is also interested in ants and is involved in field equipment training programs for volnteers and researchers.
